Cannot capture the beautiful colors on my foot, but they’re pretty hues of purple & green. At least I found a pair of crutches in my basement.

Ultra cool

last night got a little out of hand. i wish i felt okay retelling it all, but it was dirty & sloppy & a little embarrassing & really hot. i’m left with the most sex related injuries i’ve ever had. i’ve scraped up my knee like a 5 year old. i’ve sprained my ankle horribly & crossing my fingers i won’t have to go to the ER for it.

i’d like to say that it was all worth it though. god damn.

queermuseum:

Most know Tom Tierney as the artist responsible for all those paper dolls books that helped define the family for ages of schoolchildren, but fewer know about Attitude / New Attitude, the amazing collection of queer paper dolls from 1979.
The conceit of Attitude is that you have been invited to a swank party at Aunt Mary’s fantastic Manhattan penthouse. Each doll represents a “type” of 70s queer in attendance, from dom to drag queen to lipstick lesbian. Attitude was one of Tierney’s first books, and it helped launch the hugely prolific career he has had since. It’s interesting to see someone whose existence is outside the norm of the traditional family have such a hand in defining what that looked like for so many other people.
